This year has been great. My most favorite activity is when we had to was when we read out loud and we got to play character from the book. I thought it gave people a chance to act and be creative. But in everything good there is some bad. My least favorite activity was the blogs. The blogs were tough for me and held my grade down and i couldn’t ever come up with anything to type about. Blogs were the one thing i dreaded doing. The annotation i hated so much but i knew that i had to do it. It taught me how to analyze what i was reading, right notes, and find figurative language. The things that helped me on taks were some of the things i have already learned and some of the new stuff i learned this year. My favorite book that we have read in class would have to be Ender’s Game because it was a good book and i actually want to read the sequel, which are very good books. (177)

Ender is like many characters from the other books. The character he is most alike is Ralph from Lord of the Flies. Ender like Ralph show a lot of leadership. Ender came up with maneuvers learn new things and tried to teach the others the things he knew. Ralph made judgement and established a feeble sense of youth colony. (59)

I think that Ender killing anybody is kinda cool but scary, and I think it is kinda unfair but he is the chosen one to command the fleet. As punishment goes I don’t think he should get in trouble i know that it is messed up to kill anyone and not get away with it but he is the only hope. Maybe after the war is done and gone he could take his actions in consideration. If Ender kills anymore people he has to be told what he is doing so the can prevent him to feel comfortable with killing. And if he just so happen to kill again he should be punished as long as its after the war. But i doubt that he will get in too much trouble since he killed Stilson when he was 6 and Bonzo because he didn’t want Bonzo to kill him. (148)

I think that the children in the battle school are not being treated fairly because the children don’t get to be kids and experience the joys of childhood. Taking away a child’s childhood will alter them and make them mean, tough and cold-hearted. These kids are being abused and it needs to stop. Even tho i doubt it will change due to the fact that the people running it are some-what corrupt anyway. Graff is the worst of them all. He single handily molded Ender to what he wanted Ender to be not what Ender wanted to be. Regardless of Ender’s bad state he is doing very good. (108)

I think that its correct because the kids are doing things that there not even suppose to do at this age. The question if Dink feels sorry about his observation that is a matter of opinion. Because he could be accepting this fact or he could be sadden by the things that have beseech him. The so called goals for that Battle School is to teach the kids how to be a soldier and leaders. Also, the school prepares them for the “invasion” of the buggers. (86)

Once Ender is away from his older siblings i think that he will feel a little lost and alone. The love he was given by his sister will be missed by him and the hate he feel for his brother may not be hate forever. All my brothers i have different relationships with. My oldest brother is like both negative and positive because we would do anything for each other but to my mother im always the one that will never live up to him. My 2nd oldest brother i don’t have a relationship with him basically i don’t know him. Last (102)

In the book the government don’t allow the citizen to read, touch or own a book. The way I feel about censorship is in two views. I think it that it is good and bad. Sometimes you have to take the bitter with the sweet. On one way it is good because you wouldn’t want a 7 year old hear curse words or something profane. But on the other hand somethings that is pretty bad is that sometime people take censorship too far. Such as restrictions on books, games and other senseless things like that. (89)

People always says that we are the dumb country that is loud and starts wars. Most people don’t even read that much any way so this book makes a lot of sense. At first i didn’t want to believe it but once I started to think more and more about it i realized that it was true. I wouldn’t necessarily say that people have completely stopped just that it has slowed down to the point that it may seem that it has halted to a stop. One of the main reasons for this is the growing of the super-fast internet. It doesn’t any thought to just aimlessly click around til your entertained. I don’t know how we can get people interested in books again maybe its too late maybe its not. It is all chance, willing to take the chance is the real test. (144)

I learned a lot since you have been gone. Most of it is from the book. I learned a lot about the vocab and terms it wasn’t fun but it had to be done. The things i didn’t like was the study guides because everyone would talk and didn’t get it done. (52)
